1. Information We Collect

We may collect your name, email address, account and profile details, quiz/flashcard activity and results, resume content you create in the resume builder, business assignment and candidate data (for business accounts), and payment-related references.

2. How We Use Data

We use your data to manage your account, deliver flashcards/quizzes/resume tools and business assignments, send OTP/transactional communication, provide support, and improve the learning experience.

3. Exam Proctoring, Camera & Microphone Data

Some business assignments/assessments have proctoring enabled by the organization that created them. If you take one of these:

What we collect: periodic webcam snapshots (at random, unannounced intervals) and detection of sustained loud audio from your microphone, taken only while the timed attempt is in progress; your IP address and browser/device information captured when you start the attempt; and a log of certain in-browser activity (such as switching tabs or exiting fullscreen) flagged during the attempt.

Why: to help the assigning organization verify your identity and detect a second person or other suspicious activity during a proctored assessment, and to deter and record academic-integrity violations.

Legal basis: your explicit, informed consent, given via a checkbox before camera/microphone access is requested, which we record with a timestamp. You may decline by not proceeding past the consent screen — this ends only your ability to take that specific proctored attempt.

Who can see it: the organization that created the assignment (for review of that attempt only) and IntQues staff for support/legal purposes. We do not use these snapshots for automated facial recognition or identity-matching, and we do not sell or share them with anyone else.

Storage & retention: snapshots are stored with our image-hosting service provider and are permanently deleted no later than 14 days after your attempt as part of an automated process; the IP/device and activity-log data is retained with the attempt record for as long as the assignment result is kept. You may request earlier deletion of your snapshots through the support channels below.

International transfer: our image-hosting service provider may store data on servers located outside India. Where this applies, we take reasonable steps to require the provider to protect your data.

Minors: a proctored assessment should only be taken by someone 18 or older, or with the permission of a parent/guardian. If you believe a child has been proctored without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately using the details below so we can review and, where appropriate, delete the data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Limited data may be shared with service providers (for example, email/SMS/payment, and image-hosting systems — see Section 3 for proctoring data specifically) strictly for service delivery.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and operational controls to protect your data. No method of internet transmission is fully risk-free.

6. Your Rights

You may request correction of profile details (such as first and last name), ask questions about your stored information, request early deletion of proctoring snapshots (see Section 3), and withdraw consent to future data collection at any time (for proctoring, by declining to start or continue a proctored attempt). Withdrawing consent does not affect data already lawfully collected before withdrawal.
